Rasmus Larsen is a DTU professor in image analysis. He was the DTU Provost, Executive Vice President and CAO at DTU 2017-2025. He was head of the DTU Compute 2015-2017 and the DTU Compute graduate school with more than 100 phd students 2005-2015 and head of the research section in image analysis and computer graphics comprising more than 40 senior and younger researchers 2001-2015. He has raised research funds in excess of 100 MDKK at DTU Compute and was principal investigator in a series of research projects involving national and international research institutions, hospitals, and industry. His research and innovation interest are targeted towards image analysis in remote sensing, medical imaging, material science, industrial inspection.
