Working with Agentic AI: A Field Perspective from the Frontline (DTU Industrial AI Program)
Beskrivelse

While agentic AI promises autonomy at scale, its real impact is already being felt in how people work today. This session offers a candid, hands-on perspective on what happens when AI agents become part of everyday design and development processes.

Drawing on real experience from building digital products, the session explores how the boundary between design and engineering is dissolving, how ideas move faster from concept to working solutions, and how roles are shifting—from execution to direction, evaluation, and judgement.

The session highlights both the opportunities and the friction: where AI accelerates innovation, and where it introduces new risks, false confidence, or unexpected complexity. It also reflects on what remains uniquely human—taste, accountability, and the ability to make the final call.

Key takeaway: The move to agentic AI is not only a technological shift, but a transformation of how work gets done—requiring new skills, new roles, and a renewed focus on human judgement as the ultimate competitive advantage.

This session is part of DTU's Industrial AI Program: From Artificial Intelligence to Industrial Intelligence at Digital Tech Summit 2026. Through a series of connected sessions, DTU brings together leading research and industry perspectives to explore how AI is reshaping products, processes, and operations across the industrial landscape.
