Marie founded DR Verificerer, DR’s specialised newsroom and strategic initiative to strengthen society’s resilience against misinformation. Rather than simply labelling content true or false, DR Verificerer works to show how DR knows what it knows, making methods, uncertainty and context visible, also when news breaks fast. The work combines journalism, technology, partnerships and education.

Marie also leads TV news at DR Nyheder, including TV Avisen, Deadline and international coverage. Has 20+ years in journalism, newsroom leadership and digital transformation, and holds an MIT certificate in AI and business strategy.
