Tommy cofounded AgriRobot in 2021, a company dedicated to improving the safety of agricultural
robots. After graduating from DTU in 2001 with a thesis on an agricultural robot, he held leadership
roles in computer vision and agricultural robotics. Until 2016, he focused on computer vision solutions
for mechanical weeding and process control in harvesting machinery. He then shifted his attention to
autonomous agricultural machinery, spending three years in Silicon Valley and two years at a Danish
robotics startup. These experiences inspired him to establish AgriRobot with a mission to help
machinery manufacturers develop safe autonomous systems.
