Juan Miguel is a postdoctoral researcher in the Visual Computing section at DTU Compute. His research focuses on deep learning methods for multimodal learning, integrating image, remote sensing, and time-series data to model ship behavior and detect anomalies. His work spans computer vision and image analysis, particularly in image segmentation. Juan Miguel holds a PhD from the University of Eastern Finland and an MSc from the University of Copenhagen, and has previously held research positions at Sojo University in Japan.
