Melanie Ganz-Benjaminsen is an Associate Professor at the University of Copenhagen with a strong track record of organizing and supporting international scientific communities, conferences, workshops, and collaborative initiatives in neuroimaging and AI. She has extensive experience building and leading international research communities and scientific initiatives, including leadership roles in the ISMRM Motion Correction Study Group, the Brain Imaging Data Structure (BIDS) Steering Committee, and the PET-BIDS standardization effort. She has organized and facilitated numerous workshops, community-building activities, and collaborative initiatives across neuroimaging, AI, and open science.
