Professor Fabrizio Montesi is Professor of Computer Science and Director of FORM, the Centre for Formal Methods and Future Computing at the University of Southern Denmark, and Chair at the Danish Institute for Advanced Study. He is known for pioneering the programming paradigm of choreographic programming, his work on microservices, and his leadership of CSLib – an open global initiative building the world’s first universal infrastructure for bringing mathematical certainty to software written by humans and AI. His work focuses on building formal mathematical methods for software development that cut complexity, boost productivity, and democratise the creation of trustworthy digital systems.
