Steen Søndergaard is chief scientist to NATO and the Chair of the Science & Technology Board (STB). Søndergaard was the Director of the Danish Defence Research Center (2016-2025) In his role in NATO he continues to translate complex concepts into actionable insights and have solid scientific foundation, combined with a deep understanding of the defence science and technology (S&T) ecosystem.
