Line Reinhardt is an associate professor in computer science and head of the Centre for Maritime and Marine Research at Roskilde University. Her research focuses on optimisation of operations within transportation, with a focus on energy-efficient maritime transportation. Furthermore, her research is both applied and theoretical, as such, generating a foundation for future applied research. The research has resulted in novel mathematical models for transportation and the development of novel algorithms for solving difficult and challenging transportation problems. The majority of her research is conducted in collaboration with companies and public institutions to ensure relevance and applicability.
