Carla Griggio is a tenure-track assistant professor in Human-Computer Interaction at the Department of Computer Science of Aalborg University in Copenhagen. Her research investigates how digital communication platforms shape interpersonal relationships, as well as how these should be designed to keep users in control of their privacy and personal expression. She currently leads the “mInt” research lab on user-centered messaging interoperability, where she investigates how interoperability can support digital sovereignty and expand freedom of choice in the messaging app market.
