Jette Ernst is Associate Professor of Organisation and Leadership at the Department of Social Science and Business at Roskilde University. She has researched organisational change in the hospital sector for 14 years. A core research interest is how new technologies affect work and its organisation within the sector, and which occupational groups are involved in technological change. Her research also examines which technologies the sector adopts and why, as well as how the implementation of new technologies is led. She currently leads a project funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark on the implementation of robots for the automation of hospital logistics. She publishes her work in leading international research journals and recently won a prize from the British Academy of Management for her research on automation implementation.
