Description
Anonymization is often viewed as a solution that enables privacy-preserving data analysis. In reality, anonymization is not a universal solution as it comes with an unavoidable trade-off between privacy and utility. While privacy-utility trade-offs have been extensively studied from a theoretical perspective, understanding what is “good enough” privacy or utility in practice remains challenging.
