Dr. Hemant Ghayvat is an Associate Professor at Roskilde University, Denmark, and Director of Emerging Health for Technology. He is a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow and works at the intersection of Physical AI, Digital Health, biomedical engineering, healthcare systems and intelligent technologies. His research focuses on translating AI, IoT, multimodal sensing, neurotechnology and human–AI interaction into clinically relevant healthcare solutions. He has held research positions at institutions including Stanford University, Technical University of Denmark, Technical University of Munich, Fudan University and the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. His research spans AI-driven predictive healthcare, brain-computer interfaces, assistive technologies, digital health and immersive healthcare, with a strong focus on translating research into practical and societal impact.
