Tariq Osman Andersen is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science, University of Copenhagen, where he conducts research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, human-computer interaction, and participatory design. His work explores how AI systems can be designed, prototyped, and evaluated in close collaboration with the people and organizations that will ultimately use them. His research combines qualitative and design-oriented methods with the development of interactive AI prototypes to investigate AI in real-world settings. Andersen collaborates closely with public-sector organizations and industry partners to translate advances in AI into responsible, usable, and trustworthy technologies.
