Nicki Skafte Detlefsen is an Associate Professor at the Technical University of Denmark, where he works at the intersection of machine learning research and AI engineering. His work focuses on bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI research and real-world deployment by building scalable, reproducible, and maintainable AI systems. At DTU, he teaches Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) and AI engineering, helping students and organizations adopt modern practices for developing, deploying, and operating AI solutions. Beyond academia, Nicki is a open-source contributor, mentor for students and startup-advisor.
