Kristel Kriisa is an Estonian AI adviser, researcher, and educator with extensive experience in the public sector. She has led national initiatives as AI Project Manager at the Information System Authority and later as AI Adviser to the Secretary of State at the Government Office of Estonia, where she pioneered the responsible use of generative AI in government. At Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech), she is pursuing a PhD focused on measuring the impact of AI in public institutions, bridging her advisory work with academic research. With a background of more than a decade in education, Kristel combines expertise in pedagogy, digital governance, and emerging technologies.
