Frederik Hinz Andersen is the captain and founder of OCEAN FLAGSHIPS. He has more than 20 years of experience mentoring, supporting, and investing in the Danish startup ecosystem.
As Head of Entrepreneurship and Assistant Professor at the Royal Danish Academy, Frederik founded the academy’s entrepreneurship community and established the Startup Hub, building strong bridges between academia and business. As a board member, he has mentored dozens of startups and early-stage founders, always with a focus on sustainability and inclusion.
In recent years, Frederik has invested considerable time in a project funded by the Danish Maritime Fund, exploring how sustainable innovation and entrepreneurship can best be supported in the maritime sector.
Through OCEAN FLAGSHIPS, Frederik combines his background in entrepreneurship with his passion for the ocean, working to accelerate the Blue Transition and bringing new sustainable solutions into practice.
