Martina holds a Marie Curie double PhD in medical robotics and is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Copenhagen. Her research focuses on realistic organ simulators, digital twins, and medical robots to advance healthcare and reduce animal testing. She has international academic experience across Europe and US (Harvard University), as well as industry expertise from Novo Nordisk. Martina has authored six journal papers, a book chapter, holds a patent, and has presented her work at multiple international conferences.
