Lora Jakobsen is ZeroNorth’s Chief Sustainability Officer. As one of ZeroNorth’s founding members, and part of the executive management, she is dedicated to transforming global trade from within.
Lora drives ZeroNorth’s market leading position to make global trade green through strategic positioning, communication and partnerships with industry leaders and associations. She works closely with policymakers and industry stakeholders to shape regulations that accelerate zero emissions and drive progress across the maritime sector.
Lora also holds key positions to actualise transformative change through industry working groups, such as Global Maritime Forum’s operational efficiency working group and Getting Zero Coalition, and as Chairperson of EnergyLeap working group on Vessel Emissions Reporting Standard.
Lora holds an MBA in Innovation, Leadership & Technology from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and a climate emergency education certificate from Oxford University.
