Sebastian Reyn is the Head of Geopolitics and Global Advocacy at ASML, a role he took on in September 2024 after more than three decades in Dutch defense and intelligence. At the Ministry of Defence, he served in senior positions including Deputy Director of the Defence Intelligence Service, Director for Strategy, Policy Planning and Innovation, and Head of Sigint–Cyber. He holds a PhD from Leiden University and studied at Johns Hopkins SAIS and the University of Texas at Austin. Reyn’s move to ASML reflects the company’s growing need to navigate complex global political and technological landscapes, where his strategic and policy expertise is highly relevant.
