Biografi

Erik Grönvall (Ph.D.) is Associate Professor at the IT University of Copenhagen. Erik works with Co-design and collaborative innovation processes with organizations, communities, and individuals. His research is typically situated in the broader care domain where he studies the role of technology in everyday life and care, care communities and participation, and how technology can be designed to better align with the capabilities and needs of diverse users and care organizations. In recent years, he has explored collaboration among formal and informal care actors, participatory processes, and designing for communities in social and primary care contexts. Erik has 20+ years of experience doing innovation and co-design research in different care contexts, including designing and developing Pycipedia, an award-winning content-creation platform for social workers and different rehabilitation and therapeutic tools.
