Beyond Monoliths: Building Modular Capabilities for Digital and AI Sovereignty
Beskrivelse
As AI becomes vital to Denmark’s public and private sectors, our dependence on non-European cloud platforms raises critical questions about control and security. This session moves beyond the false choice between global tech and costly national solutions. Inspired by modular systems like shipping containers, we explore how open-source tools and flexible architectures can deliver secure, scalable, and sovereign AI infrastructure. We’ll discuss how Denmark and the EU can support local innovation through smart procurement, technical certification, and SME-driven ecosystems—ensuring AI remains under European control while boosting competitiveness.
