Daniel Hershcovich investigates cross-cultural and cross-lingual adaptation of and with language models, interpretable representation of natural language syntax, semantics, and pragmatics, and promoting welfare, sustainability and responsible behavior through language technology. This includes particularly computational argumentation and adaptation of cooking recipes, with the goal of investigating language and identity with respect to food and promoting sustainable and diverse diets.
