BENT DALAGER, Partner, NewTech and Head of Innovation, KPMG P/S
Bent Dalager is Equity Partner and Head of Innovation at KPMG in Denmark. He has more than 30 years’ consulting experience across a wide range of industries and is the founder of KPMG’s NewTech service line, which advises on cutting-edge technologies such as Generative AI, Machine learning, RPA and quantum technology, delivering technological solutions across all industries.

Bent is also the leader of the KPMG Global Quantum Technology HUB, working closely with the Niels Bohr Institute, DTU and KPMG’s Global Quantum Tech Network. Additionally, Bent is co-founder and board member of the Danish Quantum Community.

Bent holds an MSc in Computer Science and AI, coupled with a bachelor's degree in mathematical economics, as well as an HD in management and further education from both Harvard and MIT.

He’s an external lecturer in AI CBS Board Education, Børsen Board Education and at INSEAD Executive MBA.

Bent is in the digital wiseperson council at the Academy of Technical Sciences (ATV) and co-founder of the professional data council.

He chairs the Danish ITC Industry association’s (IT-Branchen) NewTech Policy Board (AI and Digitalisation).

He is also a member of the advisory committee to the Financial Supervisory Authority (Finanstilsynet) on Fintech/AI.

Bent has done AI work for companies and organisations such as Novo Nordisk, Carlsberg, Danske Bank, Nordea, PFA Pension, the Danish Business Authority, the City of Copenhagen, Nets, Lego, etc.

He is an experienced speaker at conferences, board meetings, annual meetings, etc. (for example Nordea Private Banking clients, Leadership at Novo Nordisk, Danske Bank Investors, Copenhagen City leadership, Bank data annual meeting, etc.). He has also participated in various panels at events like Folkemødet, TV2 Business and Millionærklubben, as well as associations like the Financial Services Union (Finansforbundet), FSR – Danish Auditors Association, Danish ITC Industry association, the Danish Parliament , Presidents network, AmCham and various VL groups.

Bent has made a large number of presentations about Generative AI in 2023 and 2024 to a wide range of companies and networks.

Finally, Bent hosts KPMG’s TechTalk series on AI and quantum technology.
