Daniel is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at Aalborg University in Copenhagen. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Bologna and later served as a postdoc at University College Cork. His expertise lies in Empirical Software Engineering, focusing on the integration of Generative AI in the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies. He maintains active collaborations with a range of enterprises, both large and small. Besides being a Fellow at institutions like Lero, CNR, and CINI, Daniel founded a sustainable mobility tech company in 2015. His contributions to the field are underscored by securing approximately €1 million in research funding and authoring over 40 publications.
