He is an assistant professor at the Software Engineering Section at the University of Southern Denmark. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Software Engineering and Robotics from the University of Southern Denmark in 2023. In 2024, he was appointed assistant professor at the University of Southern Denmark. Juan Heredia conducts research in the areas of Collaborative Robots, Human Robot Interaction, Energy Aware Robotics, and Sustainable Robotics.
