Farshad Moradi (Senior Member, IEEE) received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Oslo, Oslo, Norway, in 2011. From 2009 to 2010, he visited the Nanoelectronic Laboratory, Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA. He started his academic career as an Assistant Professor at the School of Engineering, Aarhus University, Aarhus, Denmark, where he is currently a Full
Professor with the Department of Engineering and the Director of the Integrated Circuit and Electronics Laboratory (ICELab) and the interdisciplinary ibrain center. His current research interest includes ultra-low power circuits for biomedical applications, neuromorphic computing using CMOS or emerging technologies like spintronics, and brain-inspired computing on edge especially
for neural interfaces.
