The green transition is increasing the amount of renewable energy sources like wind and solar. Therefore, there is an increasing fluctuation in the energy supply, resulting in a growing fluctuation of the prices. Both the production and demand are increasingly controllable to stabilise the grid. Unfortunately, most internet-connected solar inverters, EV chargers, smart home devices and building batteries are not of European origin. What are the security implications, and what can we do about this?
