Thomas Riisgaard Hansen is Director of Digital Research Centre Denmark (DIREC), a national collaboration between Danish universities and industry partners, where he leads national efforts in digital research, innovation, and education. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Aarhus University and has co-founded and invested in several companies. His current focus is to strengthen Denmark and Europe’s digital competitiveness through research and innovation.
