Kathrin Kirchner joined DTU in 2018 as an Associate Professor. Her research focuses on the transformative effects of innovative digital technologies in the workplace, with a particular interest in the roles of artificial intelligence and data science in digital platform work and knowledge work. She examines how these technologies augment, automate, or monitor tasks. Additionally, she explores how technologies like Virtual Reality can support remote knowledge work. Kathrin is also interested in the organizational implementation of these technologies and their impact on employee well-being.
