Lars Bo Larsen, the inaugural Executive Director of the National Defence Technology Centre, previously served as Ambassador to Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Timor Leste, and ASEAN until 2023. He also served as Danish Ambassador to the EU's Foreign and Security Policy. Lars has worked globally for over 20 years in foreign service, including in China, South Africa, and the Netherlands. Within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he led teams in areas such as EU Justice and Home Affairs and Latin American affairs. Beyond diplomacy, Lars Bo was a senior consultant at McKinsey & Company and taught at the University of Copenhagen and the Danish Police Academy.
