Michael’s main activities lie within transport planning, customised decision support systems, group decision making, sustainability assessments and applied multi-criteria decision analysis. He holds in-depth knowledge about assessment methodologies concerning transport infrastructure projects, initiatives and policies – both in respect to research and teaching. His research in particular applies theory in practice, and has often been carried out using real case data in various projects.
