Roman Jurowetzki is an Associate Professor of Innovation Studies and Applied Data Science at Aalborg University Business School. Since his PhD in 2012, he has specialized in computational methods, particularly Natural Language Processing for technology mapping and landscaping studies using large patent and bibliographic datasets. He co-founded the Business Data Science master’s program at AAU, focusing on Machine Learning and AI for business and economics students. In 2021, Roman began leading AI Denmark and the AI Growth Lab at the Business School. Additionally, he contributes to the open-source development of large language models in Denmark.
