Serkan Ayvaz currently works as an associate professor at the Centre for Industrial Software at University of Southern Denmark. Previously, he was an associate professor at the Dept. of Computer Engineering at Yildiz Technical University. Serkan obtained his Ph.D. in computer science at Kent State University, USA in 2015. His research focuses in the areas of artificial intelligence and big data with the emphasis on developing AI systems that support decision making processes and help solve real-world problems.
