Three names from the heart of Denmark’s leading ecosystem for supercomputing, quantum technology, and biotechnology join forces on the Main Stage.
Kvantify and Novonesis were the first in the world to calculate an enzymatic reaction on a cloud-based quantum computer. In addition, Kvantify is the first pure-play quantum software company to run calculations on Denmark’s AI supercomputer, Gefion. Here, they simulate quantum systems that are too large for today’s quantum computers. By combining the power of supercomputers and quantum computers, they push the boundaries of which problems can be tackled in chemistry, enzymes, and drug discovery.
In this session you are offered an inside perspective on the work and the people behind it. Nikolaj Thomas Zinner (Kvantify), Lars Olsen (Novonesis), and Ulrik Nicolai de Lichtenberg (Gefion/DCAI) will share what made the collaboration successful, where challenges arose, and what lessons your organization can take away.
Ulrik Nicolai de Lichtenberg - Director, Scientific Projects - Danish Centre for AI Innovation (DCAI) / Gefion
Nikolaj Thomas Zinner - Professor & Co-founder - Aarhus University & Kvantify
