Revolutionizing Cancer Detection with AI, Robotics, and Digital Twins
Description

Colorectal cancer is the world’s second deadliest cancer, and cases keep rising. Early detection can cut mortality by 90%, but current diagnostic methods are invasive for patients and demanding for clinicians. The question is: how can we do better? Advances in robotics, AI, and automation promise faster, more accurate, and less invasive detection, but before deployment, we need safe environments to test devices and train algorithms and clinicians. That is where digital twins come in. By creating realistic virtual models of the colon, we can accelerate innovation, de-risk development, and open new frontiers for medical robotics. This session will showcase how digital twins and robotics can transform colorectal cancer detection and how industry and research can work together to tackle this global challenge.
