Maritime Sustainability – How do we decarbonize shipping with new technology and behaviour?
Description

The shipping industry is vast, complex, and difficult to decarbonise. “We need immediate, coordinated action across all industries. By 2030, we aim to transport 25% of our ocean cargo using low-emissions fuel. But achieving this target requires systemic change. We urgently need regulation that makes green fuels viable and affordable. “, Vincent Clark, CEO, A.P. Moller  - Maersk.
We need to enable tomorrow’s shipping sustainable standards with tools that make it easy to take action that enables decarbonisation. There are multiple methods to decarbonize, including new types of fuel, rotating sails as well as measuring, reporting, obtaining insight into actual consumption on a more detailed level. The industry has become interested in getting empowered to take better, more sustainable decisions which safeguard our climate and environment.
