Name
What can we expect from the Danish Chip Competence Center
Description
With the European Chips Act, the European Commission aims to strengthen Europe’s technological leadership within semiconductor technologies and applications, help achieve both the digital and green transitions and minimize technological dependencies.
Quantum chips will be a focus area of the Center, aligning perfectly with Denmark’s quantum strategy and the numerous initiatives that are under way to manifest Denmark and Europe as a major player regarding quantum technology.
We will elude on how the European Chips Act can boost the Danish semiconductor/quantum ecosystem, and how the establishment of a national microchips competence center will be instrumental for establishing more start-ups and increase competitiveness of SME’s.
