| Mike is a Data Scientist at SAS in the Global Technology Practice team. In his job, he seeks to solve difficult and complex business problems using data and analytics – and sometimes even AI solutions. He kickstarted his professional career as a consultant in SAS’ Nordics division. During this time, he worked on and implemented many compelling projects across various industries including prioritization and hibernation models in transaction monitoring and credit scoring in banking, predicting shortcomings in components in manufacturing, predicting long-term unemployment for government agencies and predicting if a hospitalized person will acquire an infection in healthcare. His focus has always been on creating and deploying models. Mike has a special interest in operations research, which was initially sparked during his studies at Copenhagen Business School. He taught a mandatory course for 100+ students per semester for 3 years before Covid-19. Mike holds a master’s degree in business economics and mathematics from CBS. |
