Rasmus Larsen is the DTU provost since 2017. He is a professor in image analysis at DTU since 2008. Before becoming provost he served as head of dept at DTU Compute. He has been a visiting scolar at Linköping University, UCSD and Stanford University. At DTU he has executive responsibility for research and leads a series of cross-university initiatives including Security DTU, Quantum DTU, Maritime DTU and the Center for Absolute Sustainability. He is a member of the advisory board for the Royal Danish Defence College and board member of the Lindø Offshore Renewables Center and the Danish Museum of Science & Technology.
